I feel much safer now that we are using the precut filters in our cloth masks. I am very much aware that just any common fabric is not enough. We have been using them for a couple months now, and only just discovered that there is a proper ‘in’ and ‘out’ to the material. It is my own fault for not reading the ‘Data Sheet’ fully until I was sending the link to you to a friend. Even now that I know this, it is not easy to discern inside from outside. I can barely tell the difference, and my wife with very poor eyesight cannot tell at all and has to judge by feel. It would be VERY helpful to have the material marked in some way.

I love these mask inserts. I am a slave to mask fashion and hate how boring wearing a surgical mask looks, so I really appreciate having a quality filter for my cloth masks. They fit a verity of masks and I like the large size over those 2.5 PM filter things that come with some masks now.
I also work with a very at risk adult in their home and have to try to protect them by doing everything I can to be extra safe. I also use this stick on nose wires that seal the mask better so my glasses don’t fog and that way the air I breathe out is actually filtering some. I use these inserts daily now and really appreciate having them!

So glad you are making the precut inserts. I bought the material many months back and it was time consuming to cut all those out. I wish you had online the instructions about how to tell the inside and outside of the material. My husband threw away the instructions!

We have been using the mask inserts for a few months and we like the extra protection that these filters provide. I agree with Tom Rosenbrook, in that it would be nice to have the face side of the filter marked in some way.

Great product, but yes, completely agree that the face side needs to either be another color or be marked somehow.

I was an early adopter of the Filti Material and was wearing it incorrect for the first several months of the pandemic. Over time (and after an email to the Filti Team), I was informed me of the following:
The Smooth side (polypropylene) is inserted toward the face.
The Textured/Fuzzy side (polyester) is inserted toward the outside of the mask.
It was also demonstrated here: https://youtu.be/VTXbK02IHH0. It would be helpful if that level of information (i.e. smooth vs. fuzzy) was provided with purchase.

By far the best filter I have found. This is my go to filter that gives me great piece of mind.

From the time I realized that masks offer the best protection, I began a private crusade for a way to make comfortable cloth masks more protective. Once I found FILTI fabric, I have been very pleased with my 3 layer masks and feel safer. I am now on my second order of it.

I really like these and have been using them for months. There is a very clear instruction sheet included, and it wasn’t hard to under stand which side goes out and which goes in. One side’s fuzzy, and one is a little shiny. Fuzzy side out, shiny side in. If it’s hard to see the difference. You can tell by feel also.
